Correct Care Australasia became responsible for delivering health services at nine public prisons across Victoria at the beginning of 1998. This relationship expanded to deliver primary health services to all 13 of Victoria’s publicly managed prisons, one transition centre in Victoria, the privately operated Ravenhall Correctional Centre and two youth justice precincts, delivering primary mental health services at 15 sites.

Correct Care Australasia became responsible for delivering health services at nine public prisons across Victoria at the beginning of 1998. This relationship expanded to deliver primary health services to all 13 of Victoria’s publicly managed prisons and mental health services at 11 sites, in mid-2012 following the successful retendering of the contract. This has further extended to include one transition centre in Victoria, the privately operated Ravenhall Correctional Centre and two Youth Justice Precincts.
